I am a civil engineer currently pursuing M.Tech. (IT in Building Science) at IIIT, Hyderabad. I graduated in June 1999 and worked as a consultant in retail management for a period of 1 year 5 months (July'99 - Dec'00) before I joined IIIT for my Post Graduation studies. During M.Tech, I have majored in Project Construction Management and Building Services. As part of my M.Tech internship, I worked with WS Atkins, Bangalore., (Unit of WS Atkins, UK) where I worked as project planner in project management/construction management department. I worked on implementation planning using MS Project for projects worth 15 crore INR. I am skilled in project scheduling, coordination, team building, budgeting,
and resource allocation and am looking for challenging entry level position in
construction/project management that will allow growth into positions of broader
responsibility. I am good at taking initiative and meet time-sensitive
deadlines. On the interpersonal side, I am diplomatic and persuasive, good at communicating effectively with people of
diverse interests and levels of authority. Computer skills include Windows 2000, MS Office (word, excel, power point, front page, access), MS Project, AutoCAD, 3Dmax. |
